Tribute to Ms Paula Jordan MBE

Today we say goodbye to a lovely lady who had the biggest heart, Ms Paula Jordan MBE.

Paula had a very special way with people. She made each of us feel as if we were the only person in the world when she spoke to us. She remembered our friends and family; what was going on in our lives and no task or request was ever too big or too small. She had a great zest for life, the most beautiful smile and hearty laugh. She was an amazing colleague, mentor and friend.

Paula was Principal of Sperrinview from 1997 until her recent retirement in 2024.

She fought tirelessly throughout her career for the rights of children with Special Educational Needs and their families. Her dedication, passion and drive made a lasting impression on all who were lucky enough to have known her. Her influence will continue to be felt through the many lives she touched and advocated for so fiercely.

Paula’s legacy is one of compassion, courage, and commitment to others. She will be remembered not only for what she achieved, but for how she made people feel—valued, listened to, and cared for.

She will be greatly missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.

Deepest sympathy to Paula’s parents Nora and Joe, her sister Lynn, (our esteemed former colleague and friend), her brother-in-law Paul and her wider family circle and friends

We also remember Paula’s Sperrinview family and friends at this sad time.
