Class 11
Class 11 is home to eight fantastic boys who have settled in wonderfully. The class teacher is Mrs. McGinn and the wonderful classroom assistants are Margaret, Maggie, Jemma and Ann. The boys have had a joyful and engaging start to the school year.
This term, we’ve been exploring the theme ‘Mighty Me’, which focuses on building self-esteem, celebrating individuality, and fostering positive relationships. Through a variety of creative and reflective activities, the boys are learning to recognise what makes each of them special and how they can be kind, supportive friends to one another.
Our students are thriving as they take on classroom jobs, fostering independence and responsibility. They have especially enjoyed fun activities like sensory circuit, the ball pool and our invigorating daily mile. We look forward to swimming in the Orchard Leisure Centre, engaging home economics lessons and our weekly PE sessions. Each day brings new opportunities for exploration and growth, and we look forward to seeing what the rest of the year will bring!
Class 11 Update September 2025
Christmas in Class 11
Class 11 had a very eventful Christmas build up in school, we wrote our Santa lists, decorated presents for the Carol Service, watched the Singing Hands performance, visited the crib and watched the pantomime within the school. We also enjoyed a Christmas Jo Jingles session and had our Santa Hat Daily Mile as well as a Christmas Play Day. Class 11 were also very generous when donating to the foodbank at Christmas time. In school we had a Jingle & Mingle day where our parents came in to visit. During this visit we made Christmas cards and decorated baubles for our trees at home. Last but not least we had a visit from Santa and we received lovely presents! Class 11 would like to wish their friends at Lisanally a lovely Christmas! - Miss Gormley, Samia, Margaret, Maggie & Ann.
