STEM Week 2025
November 17th – 21st we celebrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Week in school. We took part in a ‘Go Fly Your Kite’ workshop with George and Glenn, where we made kites and watched a video about the moon landing. We hope you enjoy flying your child’s kite with them on a good windy day! We also completed an orienteering activity around the main school building where we had to locate the different planets and do activities or exercises at each space station! For example, we were launching rockets and measuring how far they could fly, we did some star jumps and moon walking too!
Sentinus came to school on the last day to deliver a robotics workshop for the senior school which the pupils really enjoyed. In addition to all of that, we had the opportunity to practise our skills in the various areas of maths through classroom-based activities during the week. We rounded the week off by wearing a number to school and each child was presented with a certificate of participation.
