February update

Class 2 have been busy bees this term as we have enjoyed learning all about "Winter" and the "People who help us" in our work and play including exploring money in the supermarket, fighting fire in the small world fire station and even helping sick patients in the hospital. As we used our senses to explore winter weather, we loved taking part in Icey water play to free the Arctic Animals, dressing the doll in the correct clothing for cold weather and creating fork print polar bear's during art.

Every morning, all the boys and girls take part in their independent/teacher table tasks and have made super progress in their learning. Throughout the week, we also take time to take part in our sensory programmes which include sensory circuits, the foot spa and reflexology massages.

So far, this term has brought new experiences in Class 2 including cookery, Core and More speech sessions, tooth brushing routines and practising our independence, where we can!

We cannot wait to share what is to come.

Class 2 Feb update

Welcome to Class 2!

Class 2 is a Key Stage 1 class at Lisanally and consists of six boys and two girls. Our teacher is Miss Hunter and our wonderful classroom assistants are Linda, Molly, Ciara and Janet.

Our classroom is a supportive, caring and safe environment with the aim to provide the boys and girls with a love for learning. In Class 2 we learn a lot through play as it helps us to develop new skills, build upon our confidence, solve problems and so much more.

Our timetable is filled with a variety of opportunities and activities including Attention Autism, Ball pool sessions and Structured play. We are currently enjoying our new theme “House and Home” and “All about Me”.We are looking forward to a fun-filled year together and can't wait to show you all the amazing achievements and learning that happens along the way.
