Welcome to Class 17!
February update:
Class 17 have been participating in a range of sensory motor activities, as well as daily reflexology sessions. We have been busy completing class jobs including wiping tables, washing dishes and clearing chairs in the dining and assembly hall. We made Valentines Cards and started artwork for the Texaco Art Competition. We made potato wedges, pizza subs and buns in Home Economics.
Class 17 February update
December update:
Throughout the month of December we visited the crib and we all participated in the annual Christmas Daily Mile. Pupils and staff wore Christmas jumpers during the event. We decorated different pieces of festive Art and we helped to make Christmas logs for our school craft fair.
September Update:
Class 17 consists of 2 pupils and 3 staff. We have settled in well to our new school routine and are really enjoying a busy timetable. We have the opportunity to participate in a range of sensory motor activities, as well as daily reflexology sessions. We develop co-ordination and relaxation techniques through class yoga activities.
Our daily class jobs include wiping tables, washing dishes and clearing chairs in the dining and assembly hall. We consolidate our understanding of mathematical language by participating in Home Economics and helping our friends in VTU 2 with Mobile Deli.
We are busy making products for the Christmas Craft Fayre in school for Young Enterprise. We explore the importance of looking after the environment by completing recycling activities.
We attend a weekly Hydrotherapy pool session that we fully enjoy. We also participate in ICT activities and we like to choose different relaxing music videos from YouTube on the class Interactive Whiteboard.
