Throughout the school, we celebrated Chinese New Year by making our own lanterns and learning about the different zodiac animals for each year. We also created beautiful horse decorations, and some classes even had the chance to try Chinese-style food. Our Chinese New Year celebrations link closely to Article 31: every child has the right to relax, play, and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
